T.L. Hanna Stays Scrappy In Loss To Dorman
T.L. Hanna’s effort to come back from down four runs in the third inning came up just short, as they fell 5-4 to Dorman on Saturday. T.L. Hanna scored three runs in the failed comeback on a single by Barrett Winter and a sacrifice fly by Griffin Patterson.
T.L. Hanna fell behind early in the loss. Dorman scored on a single by Russell Perry and a double by Wetmore in the first inning.
Dorman opened up scoring in the first inning, when Perry singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.
T.L. Hanna tallied three runs in the fourth inning. Winter and Patterson all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
Eggut earned the win for Dorman. He surrendered three runs on three hits over four innings, striking out one and walking zero. Perry and Hennessy entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Jackson Kelley took the loss for T.L. Hanna. He allowed seven hits and five runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out three.
T.L. Hanna scattered eight hits in the game. James Parker and Gaines Yates all had multiple hits for T.L. Hanna. Yates and Parker each managed two hits to lead T.L. Hanna.
Dorman tallied nine hits on the day. Wetmore, Perry, McCallister, and Smith each managed multiple hits for Dorman. Dorman was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. McCallister made the most plays with seven.
