T.L. Hanna Loses Lead Early In Defeat
T.L. Hanna watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 5-2 loss to Dorman on Wednesday. Dorman scored on a groundout by Russell Perry in the first inning and a double by Smith in the second inning.
Dorman fired up the offense in the first inning. Perry grounded out, scoring one run.
McCallister was the winning pitcher for Dorman. He allowed six hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out 11.
Griffin Patterson took the loss for T.L. Hanna. He went five and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on seven hits, striking out two and walking one.
T.L. Hanna smacked one home run on the day. Gaines Yates went for the long ball in the fifth inning.
T.L. Hanna racked up six hits on the day. Regan Reid and Yates each collected multiple hits for T.L. Hanna. Reid led T.L. Hanna with three hits in three at bats.
Dorman tallied seven hits. Rogers and Hennessy all had multiple hits for Dorman. Dorman didn’t commit a single error in the field. Powell had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.
