Multiple Teams · Jackets learn & train with U.S. Army

Thursday morning began as normal for the Yellow Jackets this time year, on the line for Black Dawn at 6:15 am.!  Midway through the final morning workout though, Coach Herron surprised the team by ending the workout and feeding the team a tremendous breakfast furnished by the best mothers in the land.  The T.L. Hanna football team was then treated to a session of leadership within a team and critical thinking under duress.  Lt. Col. Tim Druell traveled from the US Army War College in Pennsylvania to Anderson, SC and joined forces with Sgt. 1st Class Stallworth from Clemson’s ROTC program.  Beyond the rigorousness of the workout, the Jackets were put into situations to use critical thinking for their groups to succeed.  Similar to position groups needing to be successful to make the team successful, the Jackets learned a lot about each other and more importantly how crucial it is to fight for each other to accomplish more than you can individually.
